DIRECTOR, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT - 2K MOBILE, Novato, CA
What We Need:
We are looking for a data-driven Senior Product Manager to drive the monetization strategy of our mobile games. The ideal candidate would have experience shipping top-grossing F2P mobile games while in a Product Management role, and is devoted to the success of the game and the team.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the strategy and direction for one or more mobile products. Work closely with designers, developers, producers and senior management to improve retention and monetization, maximizing the game’s LTV
- Own the title P&L, and align the product roadmap with business objectives
- Own title KPIs from development to live. Setup A/B tests and analyze data to gain insights on player behaviors. Then drive actionable recommendations that improve the player experience and the game’s performance
- Build and execute our Live Ops Strategy with the studios. Ensure the product is able to support smooth, daily Live Ops. Manage and measure daily product performance, including senior management reporting
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
- 5-8+ years of experience as a Game Product Manager on free-to-play mobile games. Must have shipped at least 2+ Top Grossing titles
- Advanced knowledge of Feature Design and Free-to-Play Economies. Able to map features, systems, and player behaviors to commercial outcomes. Can design and tune F2P economies – analyzing item drop rates, player growth/progression rates, currency sinks, etc.
- Predictive modeling capability using Excel, SQL, and business intelligence tools. Deep experience with A/B and multivariate testing
- A good leader with excellent communication and presentation skills. Experienced working with and influencing teams across different disciplines and levels - designers, programmers, artists, producers, finance, and senior leadership
- Self-starter who can self-prioritize tasks and remain productive with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative major
