Senior Product Designer - Commerce

About the Role:

Twitch's community of streamers and viewers are at the heart of everything we build. The Commerce team at Twitch ensures that streamers can sustain their communities and continue doing what they love. Our products allow viewers to support creators financially and receive recognition and reward from the communities they enjoy. As part of this team, this is your chance to help develop the future of creator support on our platform.

Reporting to a UX Manager, You'll be involved in every step of the product design process, from early ideation with Product Managers and User Researchers to help establish the products we build, through to working with engineering to ensure the final product meets the highest quality bar. If you succeed, you will have created work that impacts millions of users and played a role in shaping how content creators monetize on the web.

You Will

• Be a design leader within Commerce and represent our team's design thinking throughout Twitch
• Create customer-centric designs by using data, market analysis, and partner feedback
• Take full ownership of the cross-platform user experience for projects from start to finish, including wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
• Help lead planning and brainstorming sessions with product managers, engineering, and other designers
• Run the production of designs and documentation for presentation to engineers, managers, peer design teams, and senior executives
• Mentor and support junior designers on the team, developing their abilities

You Have:

• 7+ years experience as a UX designer, product designer, or interaction designer
• 4+ years of experience working in a collaborative team and directly with developers for implementation of designs
• Portfolio showcasing your past work and process, including prototypes or detailed wireframes for complex web and mobile applications
• Fluency in best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniques

Bonus Points

• A bachelor's degree in interaction design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or related UX degree
• History of personally acquiring user data (e.g. conducting usability studies, performing user research)
• Experience designing revenue generating products
• Used Figma and Principle
• Twitch, gaming or live streaming enthusiast
