Zynga is looking for an exceptional Senior Producer of Studio Operations, who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about building games with a world-class Studio Operations team. The ideal candidate is an organized, confident and clear communicator who can own multiple assignments and relationships with every game and partner team in the company, assessing and reporting regularly on game and project statuses. The producer will partner with games teams in coordinating and communicating upcoming releases across multiple gaming platforms, including iPhone, Android, Nintendo Switch and more. Additionally, this person will run ad hoc cross-team projects and studio initiatives; defining requirements, aligning partners, and driving new projects from ambiguity to completion. The right candidate for this role knows game development and live operations from start to finish, loves collaborating with diverse teams, and is excited to embrace our culture and elevate our studio to the next level. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with game studios and central partner teams through regular touchpoints. Track progress towards live ops game releases, assess risk and assist teams in problem-solving.
  • Communicate all live game updates through regular reports and internal tools. Generate presentations for executive-level staff. Regularly update and improve these communications and processes.
  • Drive the development, maintenance and drive studio-wide usage of company release roadmap platform (Slate). Manage the design and implementation of improvements, and assist team integrations with the platform.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and contribute to other games and studio operations efforts in support of our corporate strategy and vision, as required.
  • Help manage the game development framework for the company. Support game teams by maintaining a cadence of milestone check-ins and project reviews with each studio group. Build alignment around the format and content of the reviews. Ensure follow-up on action items generated. Facilitate discussions between game studios and central partner groups
  • Assist with strategic planning activities, including slate management, workforce planning, game production status reporting, launch readiness status, 1st party partner relationship initiatives, and others.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years production experience with a high-profile studio or well-known franchise.
  • Experience shipping multi-platform titles and/or working on a live-ops game team.
  • Firm grasp of all aspects of game development, including production stages, processes, and roles involved. Console and cross-platform experience are a major plus.
  • Clear and confident communicator. Able to lead projects, build teams, and generate clear presentations that summarize projects, share knowledge, and drive improvements.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and composure under pressure. Anticipates risk, communicates and resolves problems before they develop.
  • A bridge-builder who is able to foster relationships and work collaboratively across business units/functions e.g. Marketing, Finance, Legal, QA, etc.
  • Highly organized. Able to track and maintain large volumes of studio documentation for archival and retrieval purposes.
  • Ability to work independently and drive results without significant manager involvement. Improves own productivity and is a positive influence on the team.
  • Confidentiality and integrity in dealing with highly sensitive information.
  • Experience working on/with a central support team (Marketing, Operations, Analytics, etc) a plus.
  • Thrives in ambiguity, drives toward clarity.
