We are looking for a new member to join the Tech team inside of the Technology Department at Team17. This is a new position in a newly formed team giving you a unique opportunity to help shape the future of the team as well as projects and development the team is taking on. What you will be working on as a Senior Producer
As Senior Producer for the Tech team you will be responsible for both maintaining and driving further development of a wide variety of projects:
- T17OS – Our online services, including amongst others a full cross play solution
- Optimus – Our automated testing solution
- T17 Tech Stack – Our Cross platform tech stack developed to accelerate development and conversion
This technology is already live in various internal & external projects.
You will be working hand in hand with our technical experts in these areas, but the role is more wide-ranging than that, as the long-term goal is to extend these services to all our Partners and then beyond.
You will be interacting with both internal and external stakeholders, and analysing the market needs, to pitch both a vision for the team and for projects within that. The goal is to provide the best possible value add-in to partners signing with team17 and allow them to leverage our technology to further their success.
Your day-to-day
- Manage all technology projects from initial concept through development and set-up sustainable long-term support.
- Analyse the market and our partner's needs, identify strategic holes or improvements to our current technology offerings.
- Liaising cross-departmentally to make certain everyone is on-board with you plan and it fits within theirs.
- Create pitches, budgets, and full project plans for new technology projects
- Pitch projects to stakeholders in the wider business.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external partners making certain they get the support needed to effectively deliver their projects.
- Drive and improve the current technology offering from and end-user point of view making certain we offer a high value service.
- Pitch our technology to external partners.
- Utilise modern project management techniques to monitor and efficiently balance your projects' quality, budget, and timelines.
- Proactively problem solve your projects’ risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
- Accurately report project statuses to the Department Head, and wider T17 stakeholders as required
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with others across the business and uphold the reputation of the Technology department within the business
What you'll need
- Demonstrable successful experience in production within the games industry.
- Ability to successfully research and investigate the market needs and how we best will fill them.
- Being able to plan and fulfil long term strategic goals
- Experience of pitching projects and performing budgeting.
- Ability to communicate and cooperate well with technical staff.
- Communicate and negotiate with internal and external parties
- Good knowledge of cross-play game development and live-ops.
- Emotional intelligence, with the ability to take lead and motivate those around them with immaculate written and verbal communication skills

The interview process
The interview process for the Senior Producer role is made up of 2 stages:
- First interview (60 minutes) – An exploration into your background and experience in relation to the role with a Producer and a Lead Programmer. In return, we will provide a full overview of the role and life at Team17 along with answering any questions you have.
- Final interview (60 minutes) – A further interview to assess your experience and team fit along with understanding your long-term aspirations with the Head of Technology Department.
