Senior Producers play a key role within the company and are responsible for successfully planning, monitoring, and delivering projects to schedule and budget. This specific role will involve working on a wide variety of titles ranging from AAA to Indie.

This is a dynamic role that requires an enthusiastic and persuasive communicator, capable of dealing with a wide variety of groups, including internal Sumo developers and external partners. The ideal candidate would be comfortable with all degrees of ownership, from the project kick-off to driving a quality release and beyond! They will also thrive in a challenging and ever-changing environment where daily deadlines are handled with confidence.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary publishing producer responsible for the delivery of multiple projects within set budgets and timelines.
• Develop project schedules and milestone deliverable plans together with our partnered developers.
• Ensure all development aspects of your projects are thoroughly tracked and documented.
• Identify, track and propose mitigation plans for project risks and issues.
• Ensure that internal project communications are reliable and efficient.
• Set and maintain required standards of game quality and development practice on assigned projects.
• Act as a primary point of contact and support for development partners.
• Effectively and professionally run partner calls, studio visits.
• Relationship management of internal and external development partners.
• Collaborate with the rest of the Secret Mode development team to drive process improvement.

Required skills/experience:

• An expert understanding of project management methodologies and processes (Agile, Waterfall, Prince2 etc)
• Exceptional organisational skills.
• Experience working as part of a games development or publishing team in a Production role. Producing an externally developed title would be an added bonus.
• Self-motivated and able to make sound judgments and decisions in their own initiative.
• A keen insight into what constitutes good game development and publishing process, and the confidence to drive change in both Secret Mode and partner organisations.
• A proven ability to be able to motivate and positively engage the people you work with.
• Confident in running meetings and driving any resulting actions.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
