PLAYSTUDIOS is looking for a Senior Producer to manage the production of the Konami Slots free-to-play app.
The Senior Producer - Mobile will manage their Production team, anchor communication across the development team, manage workflow-considerations and risks, and help the project hit its development goals.
The Senior Producer works with the product team to define the project, get it “approved” by the various stakeholders, define and secure required resources, define schedules in consultation with the various disciplines, track production and development against timelines, improve development throughput, maintain communication and flow of information to the entire project team, engage in problem-solving, identify and mitigate risk, tackle issues as they arise, and understand the bigger picture context of how the project fits into the company’s strategic and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Own production for a functional team, with a focus on prioritization of most impactful initiatives, predictable and regular deliveries, and ongoing pipeline improvements.
- Scope proposals, develop project plans and carry projects through completion
- Manage multiple large-scale initiatives within a mobile app from concept through launch and beyond, including maintenance, updates, enhancements, refreshes, and redesigns.
- Take ownership of day-to-day operations and cross-functional needs for a full-stack, distinct game development team.
- Oversee project team of designers, developers, and QA (in-house and contractors) to deliver high-quality products.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, producers, and discipline lead on upcoming releases and roadmaps to maintain alignment and expectations.
- Identify roadblocks and provide solutions to mitigate risk.
- Drive development meetings with clear agendas. Capture action items radiate information to the team
- Communicate effectively with teams across multiple functions such as product, marketing, development, creative, content, customer service, QA, and more.
- Help drive and ensure the development and QA processes, overall product quality, and testing.
- Has complete ownership/accountability of the project cost (cost estimates, approved budgets), execution (production management), and delivery (on time, on a budget).
- Develop and drive long term strategies for production areas.
Requirements
- 6+ years of production experience.
- At least 3 years of game development experience
- Strong prioritization skills, for your own work and for the team
- Shipped or supported mobile games in the Senior Producer role.
- Demonstrable experience using modern production software to schedule and track work, and version control tools
- Ability to work well with offsite cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working in a 24-hour live service environment.
- Experience with Agile/Waterfall/Scrum development with hard deadlines
- Adept at problem-solving and able to adapt quickly to changing business needs/timelines to make decisions that maintain quality standards.
- Team player and self-starter with a high level of initiative.
Preferred
- Deep understanding of mobile free-to-play games
- Mobile casino gaming experience.
- Live operations production experience
