Senior Producer

As the Senior Producer for Epic's online services you'll work on the development and live operations of our free cross-platform online services for game developers everywhere. You’ll be responsible for owning the outcome for each new feature delivered to the public. We’re looking for an individual who excels in organization, has superb communication abilities, and is comfortable managing the schedules of a complex online services project. The ideal candidate is passionate about working in technology and has a long history of working with software developers in a range of technical environments. If organizing communication across development teams to ship products gets you out of bed in the morning, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Own the outcome - No matter the complexity or challenges, ensuring our products launch and operate successfully for developers. Meeting the daily needs of running stand-ups, scheduling meetings, and taking notes are the basics. Delivering new features and services to end users and seeing complex features through the complete integration cycles with other teams are the fun parts.
- Own the schedule - Build and maintain project plans, schedules, and roadmaps considering dependencies across multiple development teams to ensure successful releases of online service features.
- Transparency - Provide transparency on project status and risks to stakeholders in order to ensure they are properly informed of any impacts from upcoming releases.
- User Focused – Track live issues affecting end users and ensure they are being followed up on and resolved.
- Support the team with all your production tools. As a Senior Producer you should bring superb communication skills. Be able to quickly develop deep knowledge about tools, teams, and technologies. Provide leadership and guidance through solid planning and execution of work. Understand how to manage people to help them do their best work, and embrace and embody Epic Values
Qualifications:
- 6+ Years of experience working in a production role where you've managed cross-functional teams in the creation and delivery of complex online services.
- Ability to create, track, and maintain complex schedules
- Proficient in running teams with agile methodologies such as scrum and kanban
- Deep understanding of software development process, and project management practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills both oral and written
- Strong preference to applicants with programming or other technical experience
