Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Producer, you will have a significant impact on the success of our studio. Your objective will be to oversee the end-to-end game development process and deliver a world-class game, aligning with the studio's vision and achieving quality, schedule, and targets.
We are looking for a highly organised and strategic thinker with a deep understanding of game development, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to foster a collaborative environment. As a Senior Producer, you will guide the project from concept to launch, empowering your team with the tools and support needed to excel. You know how to motivate teams, resolve challenges, and adapt to the ever-changing landscape of game development while always striving to deliver an exceptional player experience.
Development Strategy and Production Management
- Define and Implement Development Strategy: Craft a comprehensive and actionable strategy for the game's development, ensuring alignment with the studio's vision and goals. Present and execute this strategy to keep the project on track and focused on achieving key objectives.
- Scope, Milestones, and Deliverables: Collaborate with stakeholders to define the project scope, establish key milestones, and outline deliverables with a focus on clarity and feasibility. Drive the team to meet these goals while maintaining high quality throughout development.
- Risk Management and Contingency Planning: Identify potential risks early, develop robust mitigation strategies, and approve contingency plans to ensure the project maintains momentum. Use proactive problem-solving to adapt to challenges efficiently and effectively.
- Align Goals with Studio Vision: Work closely with the Studio Leadership to ensure the project’s objectives are seamlessly aligned with the studio’s overall vision and game direction. Maintain a shared understanding of the game’s purpose and market positioning among all stakeholders.
Production Oversight
- Project Leadership: Manage the project development cycle, ensuring milestones are delivered on time and to the highest standard. Keep the team focused, motivated, and aligned with the project vision, addressing challenges proactively to maintain development momentum.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold the studio’s quality standards by collaborating with design, code, and art teams to ensure the game’s creative direction is realised to the fullest. Maintain a holistic view of game quality, from user experience to technical performance.
Team Building and Resource Allocation
- Core Team Formation: Identify the project’s requirements and play an active role in building and empowering a strong, capable core team. Ensure the team is structured efficiently, with clear roles and responsibilities.
- Resource Management: Allocate tools, talent, and time to effectively meet development needs, ensuring the project is well-resourced and positioned for success. Continuously monitor and adjust resource distribution as project demands evolve.
- Team Empowerment and Mentorship: Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment where team members can thrive. Mentor and support team members, encouraging growth and creating opportunities for learning and development.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication
- Facilitate Effective Communication: Ensure seamless communication across all departments and external partners. Promote transparency, alignment, and collaboration by consistently sharing updates, goals, and challenges. Present project status and key decisions confidently to stakeholders and executives.
- Cross-Project Communication: Act as the central point for interdepartmental collaboration, ensuring all teams are working in harmony and contributing to the project’s success. Proactively address any misalignments and encourage a shared sense of purpose and accountability.
Problem Solving & Adaptability
- Strategic Problem Solving: Serve as the primary problem solver for production-related challenges. Use strategic thinking to anticipate and address issues before they impact the project, turning obstacles into opportunities for improvement.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine production processes, advocating for efficiency and quality improvements. Leverage industry best practices and methodologies, such as agile frameworks, to enhance team performance and output.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in Production within the games industry, with at least one complete game development cycle from concept to launch, ideally in a AAA environment.
- A people-focused, inclusive leader with the ability to inspire and rally teams around a vision, effectively managing distributed and diverse teams.
- Deep understanding of the full game development lifecycle, with the ability to anticipate challenges and proactively streamline processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, strategies, and project updates across all levels.
- A committed gamer with a thorough understanding of player expectations, industry trends, and quality benchmarks, ideally in Action-RPG genre.
- Familiarity with agile frameworks like SCRUM and experience adapting them effectively.
- Ability to critically evaluate game quality and provide constructive feedback.
- Working knowledge of project management tools like MS Project, Jira and Confluence (nice to have) and strong Excel skills for data analysis.

Recruitment Process:
- Once our Talent Acquisition team receives your application, together with the hiring team, we will review your CV, portfolio and the answers you provided in the application form and if all the boxes are ticked, we're moving to the next stage.
- Initial call with Talent Acquisition Specialist - During this call you'll learn about the company and we learn about you. We'll talk about your experience & expectations with working in a fully remote environment and we'll talk about your expertise. We'll finish this call with some admin questions. There will be an opportunity for you to ask any questions as well.
- After the initial call, usually 1 or 2 interviews with the hiring team follows. These interviews will be a bit more technical and will go deeper into your experience, skills & knowledge. As you would have signed an NDA by now, you'll also learn a bit more about the project you would work on. During these interviews we'll also focus on finding out whether you're a good fit for our company culture and that we share the same values.
- We may or may not ask you to do the test - this is decided on an individual basis and you will receive instructions with the test.
- If everything goes well, the last step in the recruitment process is the offer presentation call with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and your future line manager to discuss the offer and next steps to get you successfully on board.
