Senior Producer - Publishing (Unannounced Project)

Bungie seeks a seasoned Producer to collaborate on the publishing initiatives for an exciting new title. In this role, you will partner closely with internal and external teams in both publishing and development. You will drive alignment on cross-team priorities with a focus on publishing goals. Reporting to the Executive Producer of Publishing, the Producer will establish many of the early process and rituals to drive cross-team alignment and content creation. This position is expected to collaborate with Bungie’s team of product, marketing, branding, and creative leads to ensure our new title’s success.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop process and rituals for publishing initiatives across internal and external teams
- Ensure alignment across all publishing stakeholders
- Ensure publishing and marketing initiatives are delivered on time and on budget
- Define clear, realistic, and sustainable production plans, assess risks and bottlenecks, and redefining as necessary
- Works autonomously with minimal oversight from leadership
- Collaborate with teams across the globe including marketing leads, production teams, and external vendors to provide relevant planning and documentation to ensure the successful delivery of content
- Act as project representative as needed to facilitate communication between internal and external partners
- Build and maintain all documentation necessary for the successful planning and tracking of publishing and marketing initiatives
- Manage creative review and approval workflows for external content, ensuring quality standards are met
- Source internal assets for external partners
- Build effective relationships and facilitate clear communication with Bungie’s publishing team, development team, and external partners
- Identify risks and escalate issues as appropriate, ensuring proper and timely communication to leadership
- Seek out dysfunction and optimize process and workflows as team scales
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Relevant experience in a production, marketing, or project management role
- Ability to establish and foster a positive and productive relationship with external partners
- Ability to work effectively across languages, time zones, and cultures
- Superior organization, communication, and analytical skills
- Results-oriented, determined, and composed under pressure
- Communicate effectively and resolve conflicts or miscommunications with members of internal and external teams
- Proven creative problem solver in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Ability to collaborate with a team to find a critical path amidst ambiguity
- Social intelligence, great interpersonal skills, and empathy for team
- Experience with project management software and diverse project management methodologies
- Willingness to shift core hours later as necessary to accommodate meetings with partner studios (typically 5-8pm)
- Enthusiasm for and knowledge of the games industry and content landscape
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Experience working with advertising, game publishing, video, animation, or other media production teams
- Experience managing and mentoring staff
- Experience with product licensing
- Willingness to travel and host visits from the partner team on a regular cadence (likely every 2-3 months)
- Chinese (Mandarin) language skills are highly desirable

Prospective full-time employees located outside of CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI will need to establish residency in one of the states we are compliant in within 45 days of a start date.
