Senior Producer

Gearbox Software is looking for a Senior Producer to join the Spark team. Spark is a platform and online game engine supporting both internal and external titles. A Senior Producer on Gearbox’s Spark Team is a critical role working directly with our developers and partners on projects. This role is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope. You will create milestone documentation, facilitate meetings with developers and partners, as well as monitor and summarize the progress of a project.

Responsibilities

· Manage the day-to-day aspects of multiple small, medium, and large-scale projects

· Interface directly with Publishing and/or External partners, coordinating all efforts that pertain to that partnership and the Spark team

· Provide a project schedule that can be broken down into contractual milestones with achievable project objectives

· Assist technical leadership in driving progress and obtaining status updates from various teams

· Identify and interact with key stakeholders to ensure accurate assessment of needs

· Foster effective communication and information flow between a variety of different disciplines

· Conduct postmortem meetings for projects and make recommendations for improvement

· Create and maintain project documentation that is integral to the design, development, and scheduling process

· Ensures all resources effectively allocated and tasked to keep all team projects on schedule

· Provides guidance and mentorship to the production team

Required Qualifications

· A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a production or project management role

· A strong understanding of schedules, pipelines, and dependencies developing games

· Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment

· Experience creating and/or maintaining spreadsheets or schedules to forecast efforts, identify risks, and provide status updates

· Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships at all levels

· Passionate about working in the games industry

Desired Qualifications

· Experience working directly with engineering teams

· Experience managing hardware/software products through entire life cycle including design, creation, launch, and maintaining and operating a live service

· Familiarity or experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence

· Solid understanding of schedules, pipelines, and dependencies for developing games

· PMP/ Scrum/Six Sigma or other relevant certification
