Job Summary:

Square Enix London Mobile Studio has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Producer to join the team working on our portfolio of games, including Tomb Raider Reloaded.

In this position you will be responsible for ensuring that each assigned game reaches market on time, delivers on the business goals and is produced to the highest possible level of quality meeting the KPI’s. The position is ideally suited to candidates who have a strong sense of self agency and can work autonomously with minimal direction and supervision.

You will be the primary contact with Developers (external), and will be tasked with protecting the Company’s interests, investment and long term relationship whilst delivering excellent product in budget and on time. The chosen candidate will have a track record of producing and shipping free-to-play mobile games with both critical and commercial success.

Requirements

Key Deliverables:

Work hand-in-hand with members of the mobile leadership team in order to deliver a product aligned with the IP pillars;

Ability to utilise your skillset to challenge assumptions and proactively drive additional business opportunities around the project;

Provide coordination and direction to developer - ensuring the developers vision is in alignment with our own;

Communicate and promote the vision and requirements for each project, including functional specifications and cross-functional needs;

Responsible for arranging user/focus tests leading up to the public facing phase (i.e. closed betas). Content updates, patches and revisions will need to be coordinated with the key stakeholders to ensure we are delivering key features and content that will generate excitement with our users.

Manage projects to a defined budget and schedule while ensuring commercial success;

Building project budgets and negotiating costs with external suppliers;

Design, implement, manage, assess and approve regular developer milestones in conjunction with the other members of mobile team;

Setting, measuring and evaluating project goals throughout the development;

Schedule, supervise, control and document production processes;

Create and track production plans;

Active participation in the design of product launch and on-going activities to attract and retain consumers;

Teamwork with other producers in creating roadmaps for project development;

Drive definitions, targets and quality benchmarks for the final product

Evaluate and track progress, participate in on-going design reviews, and oversee all phases of title’s production cycle;

Work with the developer and project stakeholders to predict, identify and resolve problems before they occur, all project risks and mitigation strategies should be clearly documented and communicated on project reports.

Design, plan and present a variety of PowerPoint and code demonstrations for both internal and external uses throughout the development cycle.

Identify appropriate usability testing and strategies to ensure each key feature and monetization strategy delivers on its intentions.

Conduct regular mid-mortems and a final post-mortem while sharing the findings with the Third Party Group.

Contribute an active understanding of market trends, patterns and customer requirements in international markets for games and hardware.

Knowledge & Experience:

A proven track record of producing successful and published mobile titles;

Knowledge of game production methodologies, pipelines and technical requirements

Expert understanding of the mobile gaming space, as well as the technologies and general processes required in game production

Able to draft excellent project briefs, content specifications, and process documents.

Strong project management and leadership experience.

Delivered multiple F2P titles.

Managed external development teams.

Led several high profile titles.

Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
