Soldiers, scientists, adventurers, oddities…game producers? The Overwatch team, passionate gamers at heart, is looking for a new hero to help us make Overwatch 2 - the globe-spanning sequel to Blizzard Entertainment’s acclaimed team-based FPS game.
Members of the Overwatch 2 team are driven to make the most fun and compelling experiences for our players. As a Senior Game Producer for the hero development team, you will spend your days collaborating with the teams responsible Overwatch 2’s amazing visuals, from building the vibrant streets of Rio, to animating Junkrat’s antics. Our goal is to always surprise and delight our players.

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the hero development production team.
- Establish and refine the processes and workflows for the hero development pipeline and facilitate and ensure its day-to-day operation.
- Own scheduling hero development teams, including scheduling, driving, and meeting dates and deadlines across all teams.
- Partner with production leadership to develop and meet feature and content milestones and staffing plans.
- Maintain and complete regular live service updates for hero development.
- Facilitate and handle healthy communication throughout the team. Champion the team and its members. Champion a culture of open collaboration and trust.
- Identify, communicate, and resolve challenges impeding our team and our development partners from achieving goals on time.
- Communicate regularly with the production team on status, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to develop and deliver on product roadmaps for development.
Requirements
- A demonstrated ability working as a producer or project manager on a game team.
- Shipped at least one game or multiple large live updates in a production role.
- Experience, willingness, and enthusiasm to compassionately mentor and manage.
- Demonstrable ability to build, track, and maintain department schedules, and facilitate complicated resource planning across multiple projects.
- Outstanding organization and communication skills to ensure effective, accurate, and succinct flow of information internally, outward, and upward.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to collaboratively drive toward and document expectations and resolve problems.
- Proficiency in software and content development and project management, including agile frameworks and work-tracking software.
Pluses
- Prior experience in a design, engineering or art development role
- Experience with planning and maintaining content for characters, classes, or player content
- Experience with online games
- Experience with Jira, JQL, Confluence, and project planning tools
- BA / BS (or equivalent)
