Senior Pricing Strategy Analyst

Job Description

Ubisoft Entertainment, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a Senior Pricing Strategy Analyst for its Global Publishing Finance & Analytics Team. As a key contributor supporting the pricing strategy team, this person will support Ubisoft Global Publishing in an analytical and modeling focused role. Key responsibilities include developing statistical and analytical sales revenue models of video game performance to provide recommendations on pricing strategy and optimization of lifecycle management for Ubisoft titles. Close collaboration with the other members of the pricing strategy team and other cross-functional analytics teams will key a key to success. The position is based in Montreal and will report to the Senior Manager, Pricing Strategy located in San Francisco, USA.

What you’ll do

• Use statistical, machine learning and analytical sales revenue models to recommend optimal lifecycle and promotion strategies for Ubisoft titles. Includes scenario forecasts, price elasticity research, etc.
• Suggest new pricing strategies to test based on modeling outputs and competition performance. Analyze performance of tests performed.
• Advocate and educate best practices related to pricing and promotion to broader pricing strategy team and cross functional partners.
• Provide day-to-day tracking of currency variations to anticipate both business and financial impacts.
• Study price sensitivity of different geographical regions, game genres, etc.
• Translate complicated data and analysis into clear stories to support decision making.
• Study competition performance.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

• Senior experience in pricing, advanced analytics, or revenue modeling required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work efficiently under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Strength in communicating clearly and pro-actively with team members across the globe required.
• Coding skills in R or Python for development of models and automated tools.
• Experience using data management and visualization tools such as Tableau, Snowflake, SQL and Excel.
