Responsibilities:
- Lead the payroll process using Paychex
- Partner with HR and benefit providers
- Keep track of bonus payments based on the individual plans
- Working knowledge of payroll, benefits, and tax policy
- Update payroll info on Adaptive Planning
- Partner with Finance/Accounting to provide reports monthly and quarterly, while supporting both financial and 401k audits
- Answer payroll questions, craft audit-reporting standards, tighten payroll configurations
- Build efficient workflows for processing the semi-monthly reports
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 5+ years processing payroll; public company experience is required
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- High degree of dedication to improvement and strong sense of ownership
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Dedicated individual with the ability to work independently and willingness to tackle challenges in a dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with management, team, peers, cross-functional teams and business partners
