Senior PR Manager — Anglophone Markets

Job Description
As a member of the Global Communications team and reporting to the Global Communications Director, you will be in charge of defining and implementing the PR strategy to raise Gameloft’s profile in the gaming industry. Working closely with the Global team as well as with our game teams all over the world, you will craft messaging and identify PR opportunities for Gameloft’s games and B2B activities. You will also be responsible for executing the PR strategy for Anglophone markets (North America, the UK, Australia) and maintaining and growing our media relationships.
Responsibilities
Worldwide responsibilities:
- Working with the Paris headquarters to define and implement PR strategy to raise Gameloft’s profile in the gaming industry
- Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to identify—based on their business objectives—the main topics to be turned into stories and PR pitches (product, corporate, advertising, licensing, distribution)
- Drafting messaging, press releases, talking points, Q&As; briefing and training spokespersons
- Interfacing with our external partners (licensors, awards, organizations and institutions) on PR activations
Anglophone market responsibilities :
- Maintaining and growing our relationship with media in Anglophone markets, managing requests and press release distribution, interviews, etc.
- Monitoring marketing actions of competitors and proposing creative ideas to improve Gameloft’s exposure
- Organizing events with Gameloft clients and partners
- Measuring and reporting results
Qualifications
Required Experience and Attributes
- At least 5 years of professional experience in PR or Marketing
- Intensive media relations experience in the gaming, tech and advertising industries and a demonstrated ability to handle all types of media, including social media
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interest in gaming, advertising and technology; being a gamer is a real plus
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or an equivalent major
