You will help us to achieve our ambitious goals by building our media presence, crafting strategic partnerships, and deepening our relationships with key contacts.

Your Responsibilities
- Creating and owning Newzoo’s vision for PR and communications, in line with the company’s wider vision and strategy
- Developing and executing our media relations strategy, securing placements and strategic partnerships with the most relevant and influential outlets for our brand
- Actively building and strengthening your relationships with key journalists and influencers in the games space
- Managing media inquiries and interview requests, working closely with our thought leaders to create compelling content
- Developing our thought leadership strategy by securing speaking engagements and our presence at core industry events
- Exploring new and fun ways to leverage content to reach new audiences and strengthen our positioning and brand
- Managing our social media presence and use our accounts to create and maintain our brand, spread our messaging, and engage with our audience
- Monitoring public sentiment toward Newzoo and address any issues in a timely, professional manner
- Determining and continuously measuring the KPIs for our PR and communications activities
- Exploring creative and innovative ways and opportunities to elevate the Newzoo brand
- Owning, developing, and executing our internal communication strategy
- Collaborating with the HR department to on employer branding
Your profile
- 7+ years of work experience in public relations and/or communications with proven success
- Passion for video games and knowledge of the industry - work experience in the industry is a big plus
- Native or C2 level professional English with proven work experience in the language and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Creative writing skills for personifying our brand voice
- Strong presentation skills and ability to promote our brand including public speaking for internal and external audiences
- Experience in analyzing key metrics across platforms and channels and reporting results in an understandable way
- Natural ability to connect with people and excellent at building relationships
- Proven ability to think strategically with experience transforming strategy into compelling content and communications
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and delegate while maintaining often fast-paced project workflows and deadlines
- Keen sense of ownership and confidence in your ability to take initiative, solve problems, and make tough decisions
- Ability to maintain oversight of Newzoo’s reputation in all activities and to remain grounded while dealing with external stakeholders
- Experience creating and implementing social media strategies to drive business goals
- A strong sense of integrity, authenticity, and transparency, as well as the ability to work successfully in a team and align with and support stakeholders
