At Wizards of the Coast, we connect people around the world through play and imagination. From our genre defining games like Magic: The Gathering® and Dungeons & Dragons® to our growing multiverse, we continue to innovate and build new ways to foster friendship and connection. That’s where you come in!

Are you passionate about interactive story design, certain that games have only scratched the surface of telling great, immersive stories? Are you familiar with the experience of seeing your friends’ eyes glaze over the eighth time you explain why a character’s arc works well? Do you get jealous when you experience a story that’s SO GOOD, you wish you were part of creating it? Well, hey, good news... This is your opportunity!

Within Wizards, we've launched an internal studio focused on building a new video game franchise with cross-generational appeal. We are in the process of staffing up our development team with outstanding talent to make our first game - a completely new franchise and IP in the 3rd Person Multiplayer Action/Adventure genre.

We are seeking an experienced Narrative Designer with a passion for narrative in all its forms to help us craft the next big gaming and entertainment IP.

The ideal candidate has proven experience working with branching dialogue tools and quest systems; understands the organizational challenges of bringing bold, branching, multiplayer stories to life; and has the skills to work with a diverse team of game developers to bring our shared vision to the experience.
