Our Narrative Team
The Narrative Team is responsible for building our project’s IP and for developing its depth to create a compelling, fascinating world that will captivate the imagination of players across the globe. They have a passion for emotional storytelling and will deliver this quality via all narrative devices which the medium of video games can offer, not only plotlines and lore.
What you will do
- Take part in creating the high-level narrative vision of the game, while building an original IP from the ground up.
- Participate in the process of forming the game’s narrative principles – the fundament of its storytelling.
- Create the lore of the game – a riveting world ripe with story hooks and motifs.
- Craft narrative devices – descriptions of places, adventures, forms of interaction that will support the other pillars of the game, its art and gameplay.
- Craft the game's storylines – from high-level arcs to particular plotlines, quest and scene descriptions.
- Create complex characters with psychologically realistic motivations and emotions, and then write dialogues for these characters.
Who you are
- You have experience working on at least one high-profile title with vast narrative content in a narrative designer role.
- You have experience working on the narrative of a project in the early concept phase – you have seen to the worldbuilding in at least one project.
- You have experience working on emergent narrative delivered via different aspects of the game, rather than the story alone.
- You have an excellent understanding of narrative delivery in the RPG genre and open-world multiplayer games.
- You have experience in writing compelling dialogue for psychologically complex characters.

Who we are
Sharkmob was founded in 2017 and has offices in Malmö, Sweden, and London, UK. The studio develops AAA quality games for PC and console, using the Unreal Engine to power its ambitions of taking multiplayer games to new heights. Sharkmob is currently working on three major projects: Bloodhunt - a battle royale set in the Vampire: The Masquerade universe; and two proprietary, unannounced projects.
