We’re looking for a Senior Motion Graphics Designer/Video Editor who is innovative, collaborative, and self-directed. As a senior specialist on the Publishing Team, you will leverage your strengths to ideate and create content to support the off-platform digital ecosystem (social media, website, CRM, community) for the organization. As part of a rapidly growing studio, being passionate about games, cultivating a growth mindset, and a fearless approach to problem-solving is a must.
Expectations and Responsibilities:
- Develop and create assets for digital marketing, including video, 2D and/or 3d graphics, and motion graphics
- Capture and edit video footage
- Performs multiple roles for video shoots, such as cameraperson, sound engineer, and director as needed
- Ideate concepts for use on our digital channels to deepen fan engagement, excitement, and awareness about our game and brand
- Develop, create, and edit graphics and videos for use across the O&O Palia digital ecosystem (social media, website, CRM, community) and for digital ads
- Provide graphic design and video editing to support various campaigns across digital marketing
- Assist in asset management, coordination, and sourcing
- Own the overall asset management process from start to finish
- Stay on top of emerging trends and formats for graphic and motion design
- Oversee creative content and provide creative direction to agencies, as needed
- Collaborate with the Publishing and Development Teams, as well as agencies as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 3-6 years of experience in graphic design, motion graphics, and video editing
- A proven track record of learning about new technologies, tools, and types of graphics to make exciting content for fans
- A thorough understanding of the digital landscape and how fans want to engage with content
- Experience creating assets in-house or at an agency for video games and/or entertainment
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, able to manage and complete multiple priorities simultaneously
- Familiarity with the gaming industry, entertainment, and overall enthusiasm for gaming
- A nimble collaborator who isn’t afraid to play with content and ideas
- A creator and ideator who is always thinking from the fan’s point of view and how we can best serve and excite our fans
- Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion across the gaming space.
- Someone who thrives in a virtual team environment
- Must provide a portfolio demonstrating relevant experience
Nice to Have:
- Experience with live service games, massively multiplayer games, online game platforms, and/or the entertainment industry
- Experience capturing gameplay, a plus
- Experience with web design and CMS, a plus
Salary Information:
The Los Angeles base salary range for this full-time position is$65,000 - $110,000 for a Mid to Senior-level Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor. Base salary will be determined by role, level, and location. The range listed for each job is the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the positions across S6-approved states. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors. Please discuss your specific salary expectations for your preferred location during our interview process.
Compensation details reflect only the base salary, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits such as 401k matching.

- Choice of Remote (in approved states) or Hybrid office options in Los Angeles, CA, or Orange County, CA (office location pending) unless noted above
- Aligned to core Pacific Coast hours (10:00am - 4:00pm PT)
