As a Product Marketing Manager for June’s Journey, you know that it’s critical to produce and deliver the right experiences (features, liveops) and related marketing materials to drive the engagement and monetisation of our players.
You are a player advocate, who deeply understands our audience.
For this, you will play a key-role in designing, prioritising and conducting player research, to then inform our product teams with an outside-in-view; and ultimately coordinate marketing campaigns to assist our live-ops and feature launches.
You are a master in creating partnership between stakeholders and teams, driving content production and don’t shy away from handling sometimes complex project management tasks.
You are aware of the challenging casual games market and the expectations of a demand generation playerbase.
About the role
- You will work in the Marketing Team and closely with our product teams on building and establishing high-level product and marketing strategies
- Engage, retain and monetize our existing audience: design, coordinate and drive Marketing Campaigns in alignment with LiveOps and Feature Release Campaigns (e.g. seasonal, feature launches) , working closely with Product Managers, Social Media Managers, Community Managers, and CRM Managers
- Identify potential for re-engagement campaigns
- Work with Player Insights Manager on in-depth player research (surveys, focus groups, motivational surveys). Own the player research roadmap
- Identify key issues for our players, gathering competitive intelligence and running qualitative and quantitative analysis to help define development priorities
- Help to evaluate the strategic direction of our products from the Marketing side, as well as business and market opportunities
- Build systems and processes to optimise collaboration, production, roadmap planning
- Create focus in the project team, help with priority-setting, eliminate blockers, facilitate execution
- Manage content production
- Own the budget for your area of responsibility
- Create documentation and reporting materials
About you
- Relevant working experience in Product Marketing on a Live Game
- The ability to build the bridge between Marketing Team and Product Managers (Game Team)
- Industry experience in Gaming or entertainment (mobile F2P casual games a plus)
- Experience in building high-level product- and marketing strategies
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Proven ability to turn data and customer insights into actionable business and marketing plans
- A growth mindset and the ability to see things from a broader perspective
- Strategic planning and prioritisation skills
- Strong project management skills
- Roadmap planning experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to create strong internal and external relationships
- Ability to work in a self-directed, fast-paced, results-oriented work environment
