Senior Marketing Director, EMEA (GaaS)

Job Summary:
An important role within the European Square Enix office (London), to work on the long-term service games and manage a team of highly experienced marketing leads throughout key territories in the EMEA market.
The role requires an excellent leader and communicator, using data to drive the business and team members forwards for success. You will own the relevant EMEA KPIs and work with international stakeholders, across multiple disciplines, to deliver success in driving New Acquisition, Winback and Retention goals.
You will have expert knowledge in the tools and processes required to support the business teams and help take them to success and have proven success in taking projects to implementation. The ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment is essential.
Requirements
Key Deliverables:
- Commercial Responsibility
- Responsibility for the delivery of the EMEA business and associated KPIs for Japan-developed GaaS titles.
- Leadership
- Manage a team of highly experienced and skilled Marketing Directors and marketers in delivering individual territory goals.
- Technical Marketing Expertise
- A deep understanding of the acquisition funnel and technical expertise to help guide the business forwards on GaaS titles. Able to bring expertise in to the business with modern marketing skills and knowledge.
- Data Informed
- Use data to inform business recommendations, decisions and reporting. Identify positive and negative trends and keep the titles relevant within the highly competitive markets in which they operate.
- Communication
- An excellent communicator through all levels of business, an essential element of the role will be sharing of information throughout relevant stakeholders in the global group and influencing in the right areas to achieve the best results for the products.
- Multi-discipline
- Move comfortably within all areas of the marketing mix to align against overall strategy and deliver stand-out campaigns within the key PAL territories.
- Enterprise
- With a deep understanding of the businesses managed, recommend opportunities through market expansion, regional partnerships and other relevant growth-based activities.

Knowledge & Experience:
Essential:
- Proven experience in delivering successful, highly technical marketing campaigns over extended periods in multiple territories.
- Deep knowledge of GaaS titles and the requirements for success.
- Strong team leader and interpersonal skills.
- A doer, not a dreamer – someone able to see projects over the line and make things happen.
- Good experience of tracking campaign results via previously agreed measures.
- Able to work under pressure and find solutions to multiple and varying needs.

- Very strong team player - able to work within an interdisciplinary game team and international business.

- Self-motivated and pro-active – taking ownership of projects to drive them forward.
- Good business acumen
Desirable:
- Additional languages (European &/or Japanese) a plus but not compulsory.
Other:
- Willing to travel and stay away from home. Valid Passport to enable international travel, where necessary.
- General interest in current trends in entertainment content and promotion.
- Shows passion and excitement about video games, keeps up to date with developments within industry.
