Senior Marketing Analyst (Contract)

This is a contract role.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a background in marketing strategy and analytics preferably with working knowledge in gaming, mobile apps, or digital entertainment to support campaigns and strategy projects.
Your Role Within Our Kingdom
You will be a part of a team with a mission to put our players at the heart of what we do. You will provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders and work with external agencies as well as developing strategies to engage more players and retain existing players.
Responsibilities:
- Social and community strategic support
- Understanding of marketing campaigns and strategy and where social, content and community fits within it
- Use insights to develop creative solutions, strategy and validate thinking
- Understanding of social data and how to find insight to develop campaigns and creative
- Agency/Supplier management
- Campaign planning
- Work with strategic marketing team to provide planning calendar
- Provide general campaign planning support & testing
- Deliver Social, PR, Influencer performance targeting and benchmarking for campaigns
- Social listening and campaign measurement
- Feed into the Social/PR measurement framework and planning
- Execution of campaign performance tracking (through agency)
- Provide ad hoc analysis and full campaign deep dives
- Leverage analytical skills to identify trends and patterns to influence campaign strategy
- Marketing strategy intel and trend spotting
- Identify topics, plan and develop white papers on gaming, consumer, and marketing trends that can help drive actionable strategies in our business
- Monitor, track and craft deep dives on competitors’ marketing strategy
- Full analysis to inform and build out best practices and benchmarks on specific marketing campaign or topic
- Influencer and Partnerships
- Support internal team and agencies to identify, verify and provide measurement frameworks for our talent / partner planning
Skills to Create Thrills
- Strong analytics skills and ability to transform data into actionable insights and strategies for the marketing organization
- Tools to use: Data Visualisation (Looker), Excel, BigQuery
- Comfortable with social platform analytics and social listening tools (Facebook Analytics, Brand Collab Manager, Talkwalker, Brandwatch, etc.)
- Relevant experience of working across different departments within marketing: social media, branding, creative, PR, market research, consumer insights, etc.
- Strong understanding of marketing and social media ecosystem, trends and formats
- Excellent communication, data visualisation, presentation and deck building skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally across all levels
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, delivering in a fast- paced environment, whilst keeping a calm head
- Organised, detail orientated, quality focused and player centric
Location
We are working form home at present, but once we return to the office this role will be located in our London office.
