As the Senior Manager, Workplace Experience, you will create inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring our culture and values to life. This role is critical to driving our business, the hybrid workplace culture, and sustaining one cohesive workplace experience across our studios.
The Senior Manager, Workplace Experience will focus on implementing services and programs that:
• Inspire productivity and seamless collaboration
• Create a consistent workplace experience globally while fostering Kabam’s values

• Apply best practices in facilities management
You will start by primarily leading the facilities team, with opportunities to expand your portfolio and design a Workplace Experience team as we continue to grow globally. Our Facilities team plays a key role in the company, supporting new office planning and build-outs, office moves, and office and space management, and is critical to driving our dynamic Kabam culture through event planning and management. Developing strategies to adapt how Facilities plans, supports and operates to hybrid and remote work models is a key priority.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this is a Senior Manager level position depending on the talent, skill set, experience, and fit with the team. Above all else, you are a passionate people leader with a strong EQ who loves to bring out the best in others as managers, individual contributors, and a collective team.
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Team Management
- Develop, lead, and implement a global strategy for facilities through a clear vision and goals, identifying risk areas, and harnessing the appropriate resources to accomplish expected goals; think globally and execute locally
- Operate as a true partner to local business leaders, finance, the People Team, IT, and other functional areas to facilitate the planning and delivery of an integrated experience across all touchpoints
- Lead a team of 5+ members across multiple locations and time zones
- Establish and extend strong professional etiquette while being responsible for the overall employee experience and the facility management elements that may influence it
- Regularly participate in 1:1s with employees and the staffing, recruitment, onboarding and performance review processes throughout the year
- Mentor, develop, and coach a team of regional office managers and their teams to strengthen their leadership and assist in achieving career growth
- Develop a culture that balances business results and a “get it done” execution focus with a fun, dynamic, open, and creative atmosphere
- You will partner with cross-functional teams to develop guidelines, tools, policies, and operational frameworks to enable our hybrid work culture
- Workplace Management
- Oversee and lead the review, analysis and preparation of facilities development project plans for viability, budget, scope, schedule and compliance
- Guide the day-to-day delivery of development projects for facilities expansions, new building developments and replacements with oversight and planning of multi-location facility budgets
- Oversee project management of all dept processes and initiatives, ensuring clear and organized project plans with effective effort estimation, dependency mapping, schedules, risk management and tracking
- Develop policies and processes that optimize spaces, integrate technologies, drive improvements to the employee’s workplace experience, and align across a diverse group of stakeholders in the company
- Create and manage reporting to the leadership team, studio heads and finance for project status, budget reporting, cost-efficient facility improvements etc.
- Develop, cultivate and own key relationships with the Landlords, Property Management companies, third-party service providers and vendors
- Work with the CFO to support office renovations and new office build-outs.
- Be responsible for the scope, schedule, budget, and overall success of new and existing space renovation projects as needed, including planning and coordinating pre-construction activities
- Establish and extend strong professional etiquette while being responsible for the overall employee experience and the facility management elements that may influence it
- Create a consistent workplace experience globally across all studios while respecting local culture by applying a hospitality mindset to cater more to what employees want while also empowering them to do quality, productive work
- Apply a hospitality mindset and adopt best practices in environmental design
To be successful in this role, your background includes:
- 10+ years experience in office and facilities management, including large office spaces and multiple office sites
- Effective project management skills, knowledge and experience, including effective effort estimation, dependency mapping, schedules, risk management and tracking
- Proven ability to develop effective office/facilities policies and processes, reconciling the needs of diverse staff and management requirements
- Experience with event planning and management, supporting the delivery of events and programs that build and enhance company culture
- Experience managing new space build-outs and existing space renovations
- Experience working with a diverse group of stakeholders across an organization at various levels, including senior management
- Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills, focusing on proactively identifying potential issues before they become a problem.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, communicating plans, rationale and business results effectively
- Previous experience successfully managing and coaching office managers and Facilities staff at multiple levels.
- Adapt by using technological solutions to reduce friction points and automate where necessary to create an on-demand, adaptive and inspiring workplace; make decisions and suggestions based on accurate data; know how to utilize valuable space
- Experience effectively working across multiple and divergent cultures and possess a global mindset
- Experience in managing multi-team locations and outsourced relationships
