The Team
The Marketing Cinematics group at EA is a content production team that partners with EA Studio's game teams, to produce the highest quality marketing assets, trailers and commercials. We are a collective group of Animators, Artists, Designers, Directors, Lighters, Producers, Screenshot and Capture Artists. Worldwide, we combine to form a global group of extraordinary individuals, fueled by imagination and a unified passion for creating amazing, next‐gen visuals. Job Description
The Senior Producer will, together with the Creative Director, head up the Vancouver Cinematics team and oversee the daily running of operations. This will include scheduling, resourcing and deliverables of trailers and other media assets. You are a highly organized and technically minded person who has worked as a producer or project lead in an asset creating media environment. Your background could be from VFX/Post for film/tv. Or as a Producer/DD for media assets in a AAA games environment. You are used to a high level of multi-tasking and a fast-paced environment. You have great communication skills and can be diplomatic and work collaboratively. You must be solution oriented and have solid experience as a people manager.

Responsibilities:
- Create asset production schedule from initial briefing through to deploy, follow through and ensure project is staying on time and on budget
- Track Artists time and resources and follows up if additional resources are needed
- Guide relevant feedback from the creative lead and other team members
- Update shots in Shotgun and keeping Artists time on track
- Organize regular review sessions with Creative Lead and Studio
- Work with the Cinematic Creative Director on ensuring we are staying tight with Studio to allow Cinematics Creative Director to focus on the creative, not the process or politics.
- Work with our Tech Design team and assist with in-game asset management and build
- Work with editorial resource manager on resourcing, shot replacement, ensuring latest edits are being updated and posted for review
- Help to facilitate Motion Capture shoot internally and externally
- Liaise daily between cross-functional teams and external partners
- Manage and track the post production budget
- Share knowledge and progress with teammates
- Offer assistance to other teammates when in a position to do so
- Set aside personal preferences and accepts the decisions of others to move forward
- Demonstrate active listening skills and allows other members of a team to provide input
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other members of their team
- This role will report to the Director of Global Cinematics
Requirements:
- 10+ years as a producer at a Post Production facility, Video Game Company or Creative Ad Agency
- Self-driven leader with the ability to take projects from launch to execution
- Previous people management experience
- Expert experience and knowledge of Animation, VFX, Editorial and Post-Production
- Ability to accurately break out shots to resource against approved creative
- Real Time Game Engine experience is a plus
- Experience working in an asset management system like Shotgun
- The ability to manage multiple personalities and time zones
