Senior Manager, Marcom Activation - The Sims™
About the role:
As Senior Manager, Marcom Activation - The Sims™, you will be responsible for consumer facing marketing for one of the most exciting Brands within EA. You will build a memorable multi-channel dialogue for a range of gaming personalities to propel the Sims™ into the hearts, minds & hands of millions of new users. You will create culture with transformative consumer marketing that unifies every channel and touchpoint, to bring more people into gaming for longer.
You will specifically be focused on brand acquisition and will partner closely with our live services team to create compelling and consistent activation plans for our different player archetypes.
We're looking for someone who can:
- Direct global, consumer-facing marketing : Lead your team within wider activation groups (CAT, Regional, and Media) to drive The Sims™ consumer-facing marketing activations across all channels
- Lead coherent, consistent and compelling player journeys for the Sims and Maxis games across HD and Mobile: Create globally cohesive and locally nuanced campaigns. Integrate campaigns across owned and partner channels, drive player acquisition and create compelling engagement that delivers on commercial goals.
- Partner with Marcom Strategy: At the intersection of activation and strategy you will develop a single Marcom Strategy for the Sims™ brand, while tapping into strong country insights.
- Inspire a cross-functional team of marketers: Inspire an unassailable sense of shared purpose across functional teams and equip, empower and enable solution-oriented creative processes.
- Develop compelling stories: You will speak to new and existing players within campaigns, while inspiring trust and confidence with key stakeholders.
- Problem Solve: Collaborate with internal and external teams to alleviate obstacles and ensure quality with our player-facing executions.
- Establish the parameters for activation success: Define marketing activation plans and KPIs through player, market and product research.
- Oversee cross-functional and partner collaboration: Ensure consistent and timely execution across all channels – both owned and partner – to deliver on campaign goals and strategies.
- Drive activation efficiency: Optimize campaign executions by establishing and validating hypotheses relative to KPIs and insights.
- Manage global marketing budget: partner with Live Services, Activation and New Audience Teams to allocate and manage the annual The Sims™ marketing budget. Optimize investments throughout the year according to campaign and channel performance.
