Senior Manager, International Corporate Communications

Who can ensure that the interests, needs and diverse sensibilities of our global audience are reflected in our campaign execution. As the Senior Manager for International Communications, you will be in a multifaceted role to determine and communicate the voice of EA, its portfolio of games, its studios and their connection with our overall brand across International territories. Working in close collaboration with external PR agencies, EA’s local and regional marketing activation and strategy teams your role will ensure a variety of International business and communication needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the global communications team and International agencies across the organization to ensure multifaceted plans and creative communications strategies resonate across the International region.
- In partnership with regional and local Marcom Activation, manage the appointment and running of our International agency network.
- Ensure the powerful messages and storylines we deliver through PR and owned channels meet the business and communication needs of International markets.
- Partner with global communication leads to communicate how the roll-out of strategy, communication creative and activations can be most effective across International markets.
- Partner with International studio leads to help develop communication strategies that elevate individual products, the studio, and EA.
- In collaboration with global communications leads, increase awareness and brand recognition across International markets through various PR and media strategies.
- In collaboration with the Head of EU Corporate Communications, coordinate with key company partners to ensure the use of tools, creation of partnerships, allocation of marketing spend and event attendance dovetail into and maximize the execution of our editorial plans.
- Ensure accurate reporting and feedback on local programs to the global communications leads.
- Develop strategies for the respective agencies to pitch and place work in national, regional and local news outlets.
- Develop key messages, and draft press materials and other communications for International markets when required.
- Working closely with the Dir of Int Corp Comms ensure the execution of global product campaign are in line with local corporate communication needs and sensitivities.
Experience and Skills
- 7+ years of experience in communications, strategic media relations or public relations in multiple International territories.
- Must be passionate about communications and media relations with finger on the pulse of the latest industry trends and can deliver measurable results.
- Must be a strategic thinker with experience conceiving and leveraging relationships.
- Demonstrated strength in building, managing, and motivating high-performance teams and agency networks.
- Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with a diverse range of partners.
- Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to think ahead, problem solve, engage proactively and take initiative.
- Strong process-minded planner who can determine deadlines, logistics and operational plans for multi-dimensional programs and events across the region.
- Excellent persuasive writing, editing and verbal communications skills, including presentation skills.
- Existing International media relations network.
- Multiple European language speaker a preference.
