Job Description
Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a full-time HR Manager for the Customer Relationship Center (CRC) in Cary, NC. This individual will report to the Senior Director of Human Resources in San Francisco, and will manage a team of four.
Responsibilities
- Develop, drive and manage all aspects of Human Resources in a high demand, fast paced environment. (including but not limited to: Employment Relations, Recruiting, Selection & Onboarding, Communication, Benefits, Analytics, and Events.
- Act as a caring and trusted HR business partner for the CRC employees. Offer counsel and leadership to help navigate various situations.
- Provide support to management team on policy design and HR best practices.
- Identify and analyze patterns to identify causes of issues and develop recommendations for improvement of our organization’s policies and procedures. Continuously improve processes by evaluating results against success measures and adjusting efforts accordingly.
- Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling.
- Manage internal communications for the CRC. Work with Corporate Communications in the development and distribution of internal communications and coordination of companywide activities as requested.
- Manage the performance review process on a quarterly basis.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide data, insight and feedback to management in an effort to nurture continued professional growth as well as growth in practices.
- Establish and oversee programs: Quarterly All Hands Meetings, Bi-Monthly Employee Roundtables, Teach and Learn Sessions (educational/ business specific topic included), HR specific training (i.e. Hostile Workplace Avoidance, Interviewing Skills, Performance Feedback).
- Provide timely and accurate responses to employment related requests including: DOL, Unemployment Claims and Employment verifications.
- Keep up-to-date on Federal and State employment law requirements to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field
- 5-7 years’ progressive experience in Human Resources and 3–5 years of management experience
- Minimum PHR/SPHR or preferred SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification
- Experience with high scale recruiting (intensity and short timeframes)
- Working knowledge of HR laws and federal and state regulations
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and the ability to deal effectively and courteously with all levels of employees and management.
- Ability to handle, maintain and manage CONFIDENTIAL sensitive information required
- Experience in using HRIS and ATS systems
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Payroll and timesheet management experience a plus
- Experience with vendor relationship management
- Experience with creating and/or facilitating trainings a plus
- Experience working in the gaming industry a plus
- Flexibility to adjust in a changing environment
- Experience with an international company preferred
