Your Mission
Reporting to the Director of Ethics & Compliance ((E&C) Learning & Development (L&D) the Senior Manager of Ethics & Compliance Learning & Development will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and scaling the Ethics & Compliance training program focused on motivating employees to do the right thing even when nobody is watching.
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Curriculum Development & Deployment
- In collaboration with the Director of E&C L&D and business leadership, design and build content that meets and (where appropriate) exceeds compliance requirements; personalized to employee risk profiles; and supports knowledge retention and motivation to do the right thing even when nobody is watching
- Align to the needs and scale of multiple employee populations, including (but not limited to) our game development studios and supporting business teams across Activision, Blizzard, and King globally to deliver meaningful E&C training across the enterprise
- Ensure the E&C curriculum aligns with legal regulations, internal policies, and overarching E&C strategy
- In partnership with SMEs deliver live (in-person and/or virtual) training sessions on key E&C topics
- In collaboration with the Director of E&C L&D and the E&C Engagement Team, develop yearly summits and ongoing curriculum for training new/experienced Way2Play Heroes (Ethics Ambassadors)
- In collaboration with E&C Engagement Team, develop case studies and other learning tools for use across the enterprise (e.g., Way2Play Heroes, general training)
Learning & Development Strategy
- In partnership with the Director of E&C L&D and business leadership, develop an E&C L&D strategy that (a) involves continued updates to content to increase engagement and applicability and (b) incorporates ethics and compliance into the everyday cadence of employee’s work lives (e.g., learning bursts)
- In partnership with the Director of E&C L&D and the E&C Engagement Team, develop a E&C Heroes strategy for ongoing upskilling of our ethics amabassador program (Way2Play Heroes)
Learning and Development Measurement
- In collaboration with the Director of E&C L&D, define measurement targets for strategic priorities and initiatives that support immediate and long-term business objectives
- Establish an E&C L&D measurement strategy that measure the value of all content and identifies areas for improvement
- In partnership with E&C analytics & Assessment Team, ensure training completion is tracked, monitored, and follow-up procedures are utilized to ensure completion rates are met
- Create annual reports that summarize the impact of E&C L&D initiatives, recommend solutions for improvement in efficiency, cost effectiveness, learning gaps, and anticipated needs.
Vendor Management
- In partnership with selected vendors, design and deploy E&C L&D programs
- Identify and secure E&C L&D partners responsible for delivering programs
- Mointor partner performance and attainment of contracted goals and outcomes
Because of our dynamic, fast-pasced environment, this employee will be expected to support other ethics & compliance priorities as needed, including but not limited to:
- Support investigations
- Answer employee E&C questions
- Process conflicts of interest requests
- Support development, continuous improvement, and oversight of ethics & compliance processes
Player Profile
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Degree (Master’s, JD, PhD) (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in learning and development, designing and developing training solutions, education, or ethics & compliance
- Strong project management, analytical and organizational skills
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Unyiedling integrity and strong commitments to promote diversity and inclusion and high standards of business conduct
- Ability to collaboratively work with a wide range of individuals, including senior management
- Ability to balance multiple time sensitive priorities in a fast-moving, deadline driven environment
- Outstanding judgment and discretion while handling sensitive information and maintaining high level of confidentiality
- Experience in entertainment or tech preferred
- Working knowledge of data analytics and its application in the compliance area, such as data cleansing, validation, analysis, and visualization techniques to explore and mine data preferred
- Intellectual curiosity and commitment to learning
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (i.e., PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and/or Learning Experience Platforms preferred
