Senior Manager, Diversity Recruiting Programs

The Riot Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Program Manager focused on Diversity. Riot’s mission is to be the most player-focused gaming company in the world. As the Senior Manager, Diversity Recruiting Programs reporting to the Senior Director of talent acquisition , you w ill create, manage, and partner on programs that develop and attract talent to Riot, also identifying D&I program synergies between University hiring and early career initiatives. This role will lead all initiatives with the focus of supporting Riot’s broader D&I objectives in direct partnership with the D&I team You will drive diversity programs that steer talent and diversity partnerships to Riot; developing and executing against initiatives that prepare talent for the various roles in the gaming industry (e.g. K-12, university curriculum development, workforce development, etc).
Responsibilities:
Diversity Program Goals and Alignment
Create and implement diversity recruiting goals with an approach that aligns with the overall Riot D&I and Talent Acquisition strategy
- Create annual goals for what success looks like in driving diverse talent to Riot in partnership with Talent Acquisition, D&I and HR.
- Increase the applicant volumes and interview representation of diverse talent across all of Riot on a YoY basis
- Consistently and effectively partner with business teams to embed sub-goals around diverse hiring as a part of our overall diversity processes
- Create a dynamic roadmap centered around the efforts that the Talent Acquisition D&I Program Manager will execute in order to drive a diverse pipeline of talent into the recruiting funnel. Examples include:
- Leveraging existing diverse talent databases or external tools to engage recruiters in the sourcing of diverse talent
- Developing an external network of “best in class”, senior-level, diverse prospects who we will cultivate long-term relationships with for current and future hiring needs
- Help the Talent Acquisition team get the right mechanisms in place to monitor our progress toward our D&I goals, including measurement of EEO form completion and how we will stay in touch with highly sought after, diverse talent
- Work with Riot Identity Groups (RIGs) to drive referral campaigns and solicit input on how and where Riot should engage to advance our agenda to attract diverse talent
Metrics, Tracking, and Execution
Design and manage programs/processes and drive accountability and metrics for D&I TA programs to ensure success.
- Align metrics and analytics to goals and report on progress and program effectiveness on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Create a dashboard/analytics to track and measure programs
- Manage slate diversity process, reports, and tracking, including a separate M5+ system with operationalization and integration for seamless TA team use
- Create diversity sourcing strategies, using all available sources (social media, job boards, referrals, etc.)
- Optimize our metrics-based approach to ensure that our goals are achieved on time, within budget, and with quality
- Design, implement and maintain processes, tools, systems, and training necessary to support diversity TA programs
Relationship Building and Management
Build and foster relationships with internal teams and external partners to support diversity recruiting programs.
- Ensure the candidate experience is strong and operationalized with clear expectations and metrics to measure
- Create consistent messaging, tools, and information to share with external partners
- Align internal teams and goals through programs and communication
- Manage university and diversity organization relationships along with annual calendars/programming that we will conduct in concert with those partners
- Stay present with industry best practices and trends related to diversity TA efforts
Future Talent Pipeline
Determine a group of organizations/partnerships that can cultivate future talent for Riot.
- Assess Riot’s needs and market availability of diverse talent to fulfill those needs. Determine where there are shortages and opportunities to build talent supply
- Determine what programs do and should exist at the K-12 levels that will be engaging opportunities for students to interact with games
- Evaluate diversity programs at the entry level and where Riot has an opportunity to create programs that either influence collegiate curriculum that creates a strong talent pipeline or where we can develop our own training programs (e.g. apprenticeships)
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years in the Talent Acquisition or Program Management space
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- 3+ years of experience working in the D&I space
Desired Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree in Business Administration or HR
- Experience in a TA program management role
- Existing relationships / partners in the external D&I space
