The opportunity
The OTO team, now part of Unity, builds and deploy state-of-the-art acoustic signal processing and natural language understanding methods to gain insights into latent speaker states and events in real-world conversations. The challenge we are taking on revolves around moderating toxicity to make games safer, on a global scale!
As part of our growth following the acquisition of OTO, we are looking for an experienced speech engineer to create speech recognition pipelines in noisy settings, and couple them with non-semantic information methods. This role, primarily based in Zurich, Switzerland (with a possibility of remote work), is a unique opportunity to have an impact on billions of gamers worldwide, and grow in an open and supporting professional setting.
What you’ll be doing
- Build ASR pipelines with modern deep learning methods
- Implement and adapt cutting-edge research techniques in the speech domain
- Collaborate with technical and business partners
- Mentor junior engineers
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience with speech recognition methods
- Knowledge of common deep learning frameworks, in particular TensorFlow
- Strong abilities to communicate technical ideas and progress to a diverse audience
You might also have
- Experience with noise reduction and signal augmentation methods
- Management experience
- PhD degree in a related field
