The Role
We are looking for a Senior Localization Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and implementing our strategies for localization and internationalization in support of our entire product portfolio. Reporting to the Director of External Development, you will collaborate with both internal teams and external partners, leveraging your expertise to find solutions that enable creative and business goals while ensuring ProbablyMonsters consistently delivers best-in-class global player experiences. You will be empowered to define and evolve our processes in intelligent ways to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Your passion for pleasing global audiences and your tireless dedication to helping our studios achieve worldwide success will play a pivotal role in establishing revolutionary new game franchises that will someday be household names around the globe.
This is a full-time on-site position based in our Bellevue, WA office. Remote and hybrid work arrangements will not be considered for this role. Some travel, including international travel, will be required regularly for this role..
Who You Are:
- You have experience leading large-scale video game localization teams and/or programs in support of multiple products in simultaneous development

What You Will Do:
- Establish global content localization tenets defining when and what we localize, and why
- Grow localization and internationalization competence among internal teams and build scalable processes & pipelines that serve the needs of the business
- Partner with development teams to ensure products are localization-ready and developed with a globally minded approach to maximize player reach and retention, leveraging regional insights
- Develop a robust network of external resources to service all ProbablyMonsters products and initiatives with efficient content localization and cultural content review
- Manage all content localization outsourcing on behalf of ProbablyMonsters, including text, VO, and graphical asset localization
- Build and grow a team to scale efforts as required over time
- Establish measurable KPIs for program efforts, monitor performance, and implement improvements
- Establish and drive geopolitical and cultural review process for content across the business in coordination with Legal
- Drive emergent localization technology R&D and pipeline innovation efforts with an eye toward efficiently scaling operations and improving content quality & reach
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to advocate for regional user experience initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years professional localization experience including hands-on game localization program management experience and significant experience in internationalization
- 3+ years of team leadership experience in a large, cross-functional organization
- Deep understanding of translation technologies and platforms: translation memories, translation management systems, machine translation, workflow automation, etc.
- Outstanding collaboration and partnership capabilities
- Experience partnering with distributed global teams and selecting and managing vendors across different geographies and time zones
- Proven effectiveness at delivering summary updates, reports, and impactful presentations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in English and at least one other language
- Strong analytical capabilities and judgment
