Senior Lighting Artist

The opportunity
Are you interested in producing thrilling, groundbreaking, and interactive experiences on a large scale? If so, we are looking for a hardworking senior lighting artist to work in a highly qualified collaborative team on a brand-new application Unity is developing! We are seeking a leader in their field who is passionate about live-events, gaming, and community building. Someone who will help us deliver beautiful visual content to market.
More specifically, in the next 4-12 months, we will be defining, shaping, and supporting the delivery of a creative direction. The team will be working first version alongside other hardworking colleagues at the top of their game!
Long term, you will work with the leadership team to define the vision of what the experience can become. This will include pushing the boundaries of what is possible using Unity and real-time 3D!
What you'll be doing
- Crafting and establishing workflows, pipelines, and lighting direction for projects and teams
- Integrating assets provided by art & design, and implementing the features associated with them
- Developing solutions to incorporate real-world assets and data into real-time applications
What we're looking for
- Experience developing with Unity at a high level as well as intermediate skill with C# or another programming language.
- Experience with art production workflows around lighting with HDRP/URP such as modelling, texturing, rigging, animation
- Solid understanding of one or more 3D creation suites (Maya, Blender, etc)
- Experience in shipping multiple interactive real-time applications or games
- Product / studio lighting - Rendering performance & optimization techniques - Strong understanding of PBR workflows
You might also have
- Experience with commercial/industrial data (CAD, BIM, GIS, LIDAR, point clouds, etc.)
- Production experience with developing headset AR/VR applications
