Industrial Toys Senior UE4 Lighting Artist: Battlefield Mobile

As a Senior UE4 Lighting Artist, you will work directly with other Art Leads to bring outstanding FPS maps to mobile devices using UE4. You will report directly to the Map Art Lead. You have 5+ years in the industry.

Responsibilities:

Together, we will manage lighting data within a map including reflection captures, light placement, and material properties related to lighting.

You will work with others to establish best practices and documentation around level lighting.

Together, we will develop stylistic consistency for all maps.

You will gather and present reference to peers and leads.

You will provide artistic and technical guidance to all map artists.

Oversee lighting performance.

C reate and procure several assets related to lighting.

Qualifications:

≥ 2 shipped titles using Unreal Engine.

Experience with both real-time and static lighting set-ups.

Knowledge of Forward and Deferred Rendering as it relates to lighting.

Experience with post process effects and how to create them

Experience with how environment lighting affects gameplay.

Trained eye to call out opportunities for interesting lighting, color and detail.

Expert knowledge of working with physically based rendering in UE4.

Passion for pushing fidelity and refining lighting techniques as technology changes.

Understanding of Live Service content cycles and how to prepare/plan within.
