Senior Level Artist (FPS; UE4)

tinyBuild is a global video game publisher, and developer focused on creating long-lasting, sustainable franchises across multiple media formats. Responsible for over 70 titles, including Hello Neighbor, Graveyard Keeper, and Potion Craft, the company has a dozen development studios spread across the US, EU, Serbia, and Ukraine.
We are looking for a Senior Level Designer for the Deadside project - a hardcore multiplayer survival first-person shooter with an open world. The game is currently in early access on Steam.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and creating game locations in collaboration with the Art Director and other artists;
- Designing photorealistic locations for first-person/third-person view;
- Creating landscape designs with natural elements (forests, rivers, rocks, etc);
- Creating technogenic locations (cities, settlements, industrial areas, military objects, etc);
- Creating and customizing tile textures based on scans or photo textures;
- Creating nature objects based on texture sets derived from real object scans (trees, grass, rocks, etc) and integrating them into game locations;
- Filling existing locations with content;
- Adjusting lighting;
- Sourcing and working with references.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in the gamedev industry as a Level Artist/Level Designer;
- Understanding of spatial composition, color and light theory, perspective, scale, proportions, and landscape formation;
- Strong skills in modeling natural environmental objects (especially vegetation);
- Confident knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 (as an artist), and one of the 3D packages, Photoshop, Substance Designer/Painter (or similar);
- Basic knowledge of gameplay and level design;
- Artistic education: self-taught or academic;
- Possession of a relevant portfolio in a realistic setting.
It would be an advantage:
- Proficiency in World Machine (or similar);
- Basic knowledge of SpeedTree.
