Senior/Lead Level Designer ‎(New Product)

The Wargaming Mobile Minsk Studio Team, responsible for World of Tanks Blitz development and operations, is looking for a Senior/Lead Level Designer to work on an exciting new multiplayer shooter targeting a worldwide mobile audience.

You will design and develop a brand-new gaming experience built for a worldwide market together with an awesome team, combining experienced western design leadership, World of Tanks Blitz veterans, and top-class CIS talent.

We are happy to consider candidates worldwide and are quite flexible with regard to your location, e.g. starting from any location with regular business trips to Belarus is possible. You will have time to decide upon Minsk as your final destination. Minsk is a vibrant and rapidly evolving city in the heart of Eastern Europe. Come see for yourself!

The core international team will be based in Minsk – and we’d love to have you be a part of the team here.

You don't need to worry about the process of relocation itself. The company has a well-developed relocation program.

What will you do?

• Design new maps
• Collaborate efficiently with game designers, artists, developers, and other in-house teams

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years’ experience in the game industry as a Level/Game Designer

• Hands-on knowledge of Unreal Engine (preferred)/Unity/CryEngine/any proprietary engine

• Understanding of 3D competitive gaming principles backed by diverse gaming experience
• Communicative and able to express your thoughts and ideas clearly
• Pre-intermediate+ or higher level of English (and the desire to improve it working in the international team)

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Experience with Blueprints
• 2D and 3D skills (Photoshop, 3ds Max, etc.)
• Rational game design and prototyping experience
• Portfolio (with screenshots and rationale)
• Played games developed by Wargaming
• Russian language skills
