Responsibilities:
- Support and work together with the Head of LBE and Esports Licensing to explore a first-of-its-kind LBE business model driven by an Ecosystem of game-content-esports for Gen Z
- Support and work together with the Head of LBE and Esports Licensing to establish the first slice of Riot LBE product showcase in China with a potential global presence
- Lead the planning and execution of some offline events/exhibits, including being accountable for appropriate KPIs, revenue targets, and success metrics
- Work closely with the China CPX team to establish and expand the Esports licensing business in China, as well as improve the quality and SKUs of Esports merch
- Work with relevant external/internal teams to manage the online store of LPL or the esports sector of Riot’s online store in China
- Maintain and develop healthy partnership relations with LPL teams to explore the licensing business opportunities
- Support and work together with the Head of LBE and Esports Licensing to develop a full range of Esports licensing strategies and programs. Follow up from deal negotiation to product launch as well as marketing
Required Qualifications:
- 5+yrs of related working experience
- Experience in gaming, Esports, or licensing
- Familiar with licensing market and category, able to integrate the Esports IP features, audience, market, and other opportunities
- Hands-on experience in both consumer events and esports merch, with a solid understanding of Gen-Z and game/esports fans’ interests in this regard as well as a strong network in China Esports clubs
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in dealing with cross-functional teams, business partners, and external vendors
- Down-to-earth problem solver, passionate about creating high-quality esports merch and offline events that are resonant with Gen-Z
