Senior Interactions Engineer

CTRL-labs is developing a non-invasive neural interface for the arm that allows developers to build revolutionary new experiences and applications in VR/AR, gaming, robotics, health, productivity and more. We are seeking creative engineers who are passionate about working on technology like XR/VR/AR, 3D game development, API and SDK design, HCI prototyping and testing, machine learning, and hand-object interaction.
Responsibilities
- Explore, experiment with, and build future-looking interactions that are uniquely enabled by CTRL-labs technology
- Design and build desktop/mobile/VR/AR and other experiences which explore usage of our technology in a variety of environments and situations
- Work in a tight loop with neuroscientists and machine learning experts to unlock and perfect new capabilities to build interactions upon
- Measure and evaluate our progress on promising interactions
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- 5+ years in HCI, UI/UX, graphics, gaming, XR, or other interactive development
- Experience developing with Unity, Unreal, or other 2D/3D engines
- A big imagination and the necessary skills to effectively share your ideas with others
- Obsession over perfecting interactive experiences
Bonus points:
- Interaction/visual design experience
- XR development experience
- Experience with rigging and 3D modeling workflows
- React/Redux/TypeScript experience
- Experience with R&D cycles both for hardware and software
