The opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Instructional Designer to join our Training Services team at Unity. In this role, you will be key in implementing and continuously refining Unity’s training strategy. We want you to use your background in learning design to work with internal Unity teams to support a revenue-generating, global training program that provides our customers with the skills they need to succeed with Unity products!
What you’ll be doing
- Designing, developing, and maintaining a portfolio of on-demand and instructor-led training on Unity products and services
- Implementing the learning strategy and contributing to its continuous improvement by innovating process, pedagogy, and product offerings
- Conducting training needs analysis with customers to produce statements of work
- Performing continuous gap analysis to resolve training needs in a business vertical
- Working with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and other professionals to build and launch our training products to customers
What we’re looking for
You should have experience in
- Formal instructional design with demonstrable expertise in learning theories, industry standards, and pedagogy, as well as your own perspectives and ideas
- Designing and developing on-demand and instructor-led training on technical subjects for professional learners
- Conducting subject-matter research to design engaging learning experiences that teach technical skills
- Consulting with clients, SMEs, and other partners to assess and fulfill learning needs
You might also have
- Experience working with Unity and scripting in C# or other languages
- Experience with content authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Camtasia
- Experience developing games, interactive content, or creative applications
