Senior Illustrator

We're looking for an experienced Illustrator to join our team as we create amazing artwork for Blizzard Entertainment's world renowned/award winning IPs... We want your help expanding our unique worlds through different medias such as key art, marketing pieces, in-game illustrations, cinematics, and so much more!

As a Senior Illustrator, you will produce promotional artwork for marketing, advertising, and global events like BlizzCon and GamesCon. Working with artists, art directors, and cinematic directors, you will help to create a vision for games and projects across the company.

Your role would also include the supervision of illustration projects. This includes setting clear expectations for artists and vendors, evaluating the work throughout the illustration phase to maintain artistic vision and ensure timely deliveries. All of this in an effort to maintain one of our core values; our commitment to quality.

Requirements

• A solid understanding of what makes a great image and the skill to execute it (strong foundational drawing skills in anatomy, color theory, composition, etc.)
• The ability to understand and actualize ideas from multiple departments and teams, including writers, producers, marketing, and game teams, etc.
• Able to produce a result that is organized and compatible for multiple marketing/promotional uses. Experience crafting highly polished marketing illustrations for a variety of uses.
• Familiar with the distinctive visual style of Blizzard's IP’s
• Experience incorporating feedback from multiple sources.
• Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills, eager to learn and grow, with a can-do attitude.
• A passion for Blizzard games and a willingness to work with others to create outstanding art.
