The Senior Local IT Support Analyst will be based in the Ubisoft Singapore Studio and will be the main actor for any IT topics of the game development studio.
The Local IT Support Analyst is responsible for the high quality and efficiency of the day-to-day operations supporting the Ubisoft Singapore Employees and acts as an expert resource in areas of IT.
They are also responsible in working closely with Ubisoft global IT Team to support the development of the infrastructure and assist the technical requirements of our games.
What the Local IT Senior Support Analyst will do
- Understand the business and production requirements and provide appropriate solution and support on hardware and software
- Provision and deployment of workstations, laptops, and various equipment
- Maintain top-in-class IT support to the studio
- Ensure proper meeting room configuration and setup
- Configuration of LAN/WAN Wifi and VoIP based on business needs
- Configure and maintain physical security access systems, Door access system, Security Cameras
- Support Studio events in the setup and configuring of PCs, AV system, network, streaming equipment and software.
- Pro-active in identifying, suggesting and implementing improvements in IT solution, services and processes.
- Manage and improve inventory & Asset Management system. Making sure data accuracy and records are promptly updated.
- Manage and maintain the local infrastructure and services and work with various remote administrators to resolve issues.
- Work with the local IT team in providing top in class service and be the role model and technical expert for the team.
- Maintain proper documentation of implementations and configurations.
- Participate or lead IT projects, ensuring responsibilities and tasks are carried out on time.
- Build a good rapport with users and stake holders
- Setup & Install IT Equipment’s in the office including Game, video, audio
- Setup & Install Capture Equipment (Game, Video, Audio)
- Work with Production Studios to propose solutions to production teams based on their needs
Qualifications
What the Senior Local IT support analyst should know
- 6+ years of experience in technical support to end users in an international company, experience as a lead is preferred.
- Good communication and written skills
- Expertise in PC, laptop, IOS, Android, windows and the latest Hardware and tech trends
- Excellent knowledge on LAN/WAN/Wireless/VoIP technology, (Cisco Router, Cisco Switch, Cisco Wireless, etc)
- Good Knowledge of the Microsoft O365 suite, including Microsoft teams, Outlook, Intune, etc.
- Good Knowledge of Windows server, VMware, VSAN, , Active Directory, DNS, DHCP administration
- Knowledge of AV equipment, streaming hardware and software, OBS, Blackmagic, Capture cards, Video in/out formats and standards.
- Knowledge of Linux administration and Mac support is a plus
- Good knowledge on the Gaming and IT industry
- Good knowledge of networking, cabling
- Great sense of customer service and responsibility
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to make decisions in a timely manner
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced changing environment
