We are looking for a well-organised, senior IT pro to assist in day-to-day operations of our Berlin and Helsinki studios. You will be responsible for supporting, managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure and processes across these studios. The role reports into the CTO in Berlin.

Responsibilities

  • Offer on and off-site support to end users on Savage issued hardware and software
  • IT Onboarding for new employees and continuous improvement of the IT onboarding process
  • Hardware repair and acquisition via external vendors
  • Managing Studio IT hardware budget
  • Drive change and strive to improve IT policies and processes across studios
  • Establish a company-wide IT request process
  • Follow-up on issues and requests and update knowledge base with newly diagnosed problems
  • Support and guide game development feature team IT needs when applicable
  • Implement and enforce security team best practices
  • Asset management and tracking
  • Manage and administer cloud based SaaS tools (Slack, JIRA, Confluence, …)
  • Provide and update documentation for IT configurations and procedures
  • Lead the evaluation, implementation, and support of technology within the business

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as an IT professional
  • Skilled in technical support to end users and customer service
  • Expertise in PC and laptop hardware support
  • Detailed understanding of Windows, Linux and Mac environments
  • Excellent communication skills across a wide audience: you know how to tailor your info to the listener.
  • Experience with networks and network administration
  • Experience supporting remote clients
  • Passion for driving Technology learning and usage within the studios
  • Proactive, assertive, self-motivated, organised, and detail-oriented

The ideal candidate will also have

  • A passion for video games
  • Experience supporting game development studios
  • Knowledge of ITIL, Microsoft Desktop certification or equivalent standards
  • Scripting ability (batch files, PowerShell)
  • BS in Computer Science, College diploma Information Technology or equivalent experience
