Your Impact as a Senior HR Manager at Timbre Games and Atomhawk
- Working as a key member of the Timbre Games and Atomhawk Design Leadership teams and in partnership withSumo Group HR leadership, create, and successfully implement a people-first HR and Recruiting strategic plan, ensuring everyone is aligned in its vision.
- Lead execution of HR employee lifecycle processes including executive coaching, employee engagement, organization design, workforce planning and succession management, people development, compensation planning, and communications and change management
- Continue to innovate and grow a high quality, people-first HR operations team that utilizes analytics and reporting to inform and execute HR strategies that drive a culture promoting creativity, diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and continued development.
- Acting as confidential partner to leadership and the whole team, provide advice, support and guidance – both in person and remotely - on the application of core HR policies and procedures, including, but not limited to; contracts & amendments, all types of absence, disciplinary, performance/capability and grievance issues, flexible working and restructures, and overall team member’s work happiness
- Identify and deploy engagement drivers and work with leaders, managers, and team members to manage their action plans.
- Working in collaboration with the Global Mobility Manager, to ensure visa compliance, right to work and employee transfer opportunities overseas.
- Partnering with Studio Directors and management teams to support delivery of studio/departmental strategic plans.
Realms of Accountability Include:
- In partnership with the Studio Directors groups and Sumo Group’s wider recruitment team, own the planning and execution of Timbre Games and Atomhawk’s hiring strategy.
- Oversee the studio’s overall HR and payroll processes with People & Finance Administrator & HR Office Manager
- Ensure the HR function is legally compliant in all areas of responsibility. Ensure all HR Policies and processes are regularly reviewed and communicated, in order to continue to reflect both up-to-date employment law and best practice.
- Drive the studios total compensation plans in partnership with studio leadership to ensure our offerings are competitive and innovative for our industry.
- Exploring, leading and/or supporting a range of HR projects, to include reacting to legislative changes, employee engagement initiatives and retention activities.
- In partnership with Sumo’s Learning and Development teams, expand and evolve our studio’s organizational capacity and potential through discussions and global training initiatives and supporting innovative development of our leadership team as well as developing localized training
- Consistent knowledge and expertise sharing with the wider Sumo Group HR Management & ensure they are kept up to date will all matters of relevance/importance for your areas of responsibility.
Your Track Record Might Include:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field plus 7+ years of innovative partnership as an HR Manager, Business Partner, HR Operations Manager, or similar HR Leadership role supporting teams in a rapidly growing and evolving organization
- HR data, systems and process expertise, including Operations, Total Rewards, L&D, Recruiting and HR Business Partnership, supporting the leaders to support and empower their teams through growth and change.
- People leadership experience, including extensive experience evolving and implementing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging initiatives and practices that are complimentary to a creative and technology-based organization.
- Extensive communication abilities and emotional intelligence, and has developed as a trusted partner to both leadership and peers
- Extensive experience exploring creative and people-first solutions to complex challenges that might stem from company growth, communication breakdowns, challenging projects, acquisition, or a number of other factors that can impact a studio.
