We’re growing quickly and need a Human Resources (HR) manager to lead our talent acquisition efforts, cultural development, and ensure the well-being of our awesome teams.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in HR, people operations, or recruitment, with a thorough understanding of HR policy and procedures. The bulk of the role will involve employee orientations, benefits administration, compensation, rewards, and conflict resolution, but there is great opportunity for developing and refining systems. We are eager to find an HR manager who easily connects with people and has a detail-oriented mindset to handle the changing nature of our growing company.
Objectives of this Role
- Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, implement and using HR recommended systems and processes
- Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expenses, vacation, and other personnel packages
- Oversee and assist with recruitment efforts, and prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records
- Identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and morale
Responsibilities
- Responsible for contractual documents (contracts, amendments, etc.) and various certificates for employees and contractors.
- As an ambassador of our culture and values, you are a key player in the onboarding of employees (managing administrative integration, welcoming and leading HR integration sessions, etc.) and you play a key role in making it a successful experience
- Checking and approving payroll together with finance.
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
- Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by scheduling management conferences with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances, training managers to coach and discipline employees, and counseling employees and supervisors
- Managing HR transactional activities (monitoring absences, reimbursement of transport tickets, restaurant vouchers, mutual insurance, etc.) in collaboration with the finance team
- Ensuring compliance with social regulations and legal obligations (labor code, collective agreement, etc.) as well as internal administrative policies and procedures regarding the HR management of teams
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources
- 5-7+ years in human resources or recruitment
- Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset
- Adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems
Preffered Qualifications
- Detail-oriented and organizational nature
- Experience working at games development, or other tech-focused agile development-like, companies is a plus
