As Senior HR Generalist, you will work closely with the HR Manager, Ireland and the wider European and Global HR Teams, driving the people aspect of the culture, strategy, and business initiatives of Keywords. In this, you will support and collaborate with the HR Manager as we establish and implement short and long-term HR objectives, introduce change management initiatives, oversee related functions and activities, and administer company policies and procedures. You will be key to delivering a best-in-class HR service to our internal customers and ensuring highest satisfaction ratings.
Function Alignment:
- Support HR Manager in implementing local and corporate HR initiatives as we work to build organisational capability in people development, including talent and career development, training, performance management, diversity and inclusion, recruitment, employee engagement and wellbeing
- Partner strongly with the HR Manager and the wider HR team in change management and communication initiatives, aimed at enhancing overall performance and building the people capability of Keywords Dublin
- Foster positive attitude towards company goals across all employee levels, including the wider management team. Understand and communicate business rationale behind HR decisions
- Gather and analyse feedback for review with the HR Manager, always acting as champion and strong promoter of HR initiatives in the process
- Build collaborative working relationships with employees at all levels and develop a good understanding of their work to ensure effective partnerships
- Provide HR support across various functional areas including, employee relations, performance management. bonus administration, recruitment, training, onboarding and offboarding
- Carefully consider issues/queries that fall outside the scope of your normal day to day, conferring with the HR Manager and collaborate on solutions. Ensure that local HR messaging is consistent and in line with Global HR and our overall company vision
- Active participation and involvement in the organisation of companywide events and initiatives such as employee wellbeing, engagement activities, employee communications etc.
- With the HR Manager, and the wider management team, dig deep in seeking to understand our eNPS rating and actively work towards continually improving our score
- Work with the HR Manager, on performance evaluations for your direct team and provide assistance, guidance and support to Dublin managers and supervisors to ensure reviews are timely and constructive
- Assist the HR Manager in disciplinary investigations, and/or grievance investigations
Administration:
- Main point of contact for our HRIS, coordinate requests and trainings on this system as necessary. Ensure the HRIS is updated and provide reports and analysis of information as required
- Oversee the management of full employee lifecycle administration: new hires, internal transfers, promotions, various leave of absence types, probation etc.
- Ensure the HR admin team maintain all details in relation to Annual leave and update our Annual Leave System, administer changes where needed
- Provide data analytics and supporting reporting requests
- Assist in the monitoring of compliance reporting and driving adoption rates
Induction, Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Coordinate induction and onboarding programmes that integrate new hires effectively into the organisation – regularly review processes to ensure we are in keeping with best practice across the organisation
- Coordinate effective offboarding, including administration and reporting on exit interview data
Health & Safety:
- Manage Health, Safety & Welfare activities for the Keywords Dublin office
- Ensure Safety Statement is updated regularly taking into account any changes in legislation/best practice
- Ensure all Health & Safety training and records are up to date
- Main point of contact for our HRIS, coordinate requests and trainings on this system as necessary. Ensure the HRIS is updated and provide reports and analysis of information as required
- Oversee the management of full employee lifecycle administration: new hires, internal transfers, promotions, various leave of absence types, probation etc.
- Ad-hoc projects will be allocated based on strategic direction
- Support acquired companies in Ireland with HR advice and direction
- This list is not exhaustive and reasonable changes may be made from time to time as business needs dictate
Requirements
You will be a confident self-starter who is interested in being involved in a wider range of activities at group and local level. You will be a detail and goal-oriented individual with the flexibility to deal with changing priorities while focused on customer service, quality and integrity
- Technical Skills:
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior role within the HR Department of a multi-national company
- Third level degree in Human Resources, or business-related discipline is required. CIPD accreditation is desirable
- Systems-driven with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent knowledge of Employment and Health & Safety legislation
- Experienced in conducting interviews, termination interviews, grievances, investigations, and the disciplinary process
Knowledge of payroll experience preferred though not essential, including payroll, benefits, and pension reporting
