Job summary
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior HR Generalist based in Madrid to join our HR Team in South Europe. The Senior HR Generalist will work with the HR Manager South Europe in order to align our HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and business needs.
Key responsibilities & activities
- Be the primary point of contact for all payroll and employment law related matters in Spain
- Act as point of contact with Finance Team for staff cost in Spain
- Actively support the HR Manager in scouting and implementing employee benefit plans for the South Europe
- Actively support the HR Manager South Europe in all HR related matters pertaining to Spain
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Elaborate and analyse metrics and trends in partnership with the HR Manager to develop solutions, programs and policies
- Support the HR Manager in the day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Identify training needs
- Oversee recruitment needs
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role should have: a good understanding of business functions, good communication skills, good interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and good organizational skills.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Degree in Economics, Psychology, or another relevant degree
- At least 5 years’ experience as HR Business Partner in multinational companies working in services
- Strong knowledge of local employment law (Spain) is a must
- Proven experience in implementing international projects
- Spanish mother tongue
- Excellent English both written and verbal
- Strong knowledge of Office (Excel in particular)
