SUMMARY OF POSITION

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial-minded growth product manager to join our newest project, Storyloom - the next generation of interactive storytelling platform built upon our successful track records in mobile gaming. This platform’s vision is to empower professional, semi-professional and aspiring writers and artists globally to create exciting stories together that can entertain readers of all ages and backgrounds while benefiting from their creative and hard work. We are well positioned to bring exciting digital innovation to the publishing industry! Some of the innovative ideas could come from you!
Our headquarters are in Los Altos, CA but we can accommodate a remote work environment for a candidate from the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, and Washington.
Currently, all Pixelberry staff work remotely with the option to work in-office, if desired.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead organic user acquisition through in-product growth loops. You will partner with various cross-functional teams, including engineering, core product managers, marketing and data analytics to drive substantial user growth. Your role will be to develop a growth strategy, build a growth-driven roadmap, and iterate on strategy/roadmap continuously based on analytics and user feedback
- Define key in-product acquisition loops, including but not limited to referral loops, content loops, reward loops and partnership loops for user acquisition, and optimize every stage of these loops to maximize impact
- Draft business rationale, functional requirements and user stories of desired features with detailed measurable KPIs and collaborate with the production team to convert them into rolling quarterly growth roadmap
- Lead execution of growth roadmap and present post-mortem analysis to cross functional
teams after each main feature rollout - Continuously iterate on plans and motivate cross-functional teams to continuously improve upon targeted KPIs, e.g. user growth, conversion rates and retention rates
- Provide and present quarterly analysis of user acquisition best practices of competitive products or similar platforms to grow organizational knowledge in this area
- Potential people management opportunity as the platform scales and the team grows
REQUIREMENTS
- 4-8 years in product management or equivalent field delivering KPI-driven roadmap
- Prior experience innovating high-impact growth features for freemium products
- Structured and data driven approach in problem solving and critical thinking
- Excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels
- Entrepreneurial spirit- a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, deals with ambiguity, and motivates cross-functional teams even without authority
- BA / BS or equivalent industry experience, Masters/MBA preferred
BONUS REQUIREMENTS
- Product management skills in live ops and data analysis
- Hands-on experience in A/B testing tools such as Optimizely, CleverTap/LeanPalm etc
- Experience in (and love for) narrative or interactive fiction games
- Experience in (and love for) casual and/or female-focused mobile games

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (annually)
The salary range for the role is $115,000 - $160,000 per year.
Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. Where an individual’s pay falls within the range is determined by factors including, but not limited to, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
In some cases, compensation may fall outside of this range depending on factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
