What We Need:
The Sr. Growth Manager role is a member of the 2K Growth team, overseeing the acquisition and live services strategy, planning, execution, and optimization across key 2K franchises. For the first year, this position will exclusively assist the Proletariat founded in 2012 by a group of game-industry veterans from Harmonix, Turbine, and Insomniac Games. Located in Boston, Proletariat is pushing the boundaries of multiplayer games with its unique studio and popular title, Spellbreak, and this role will help develop highly effective acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization strategies.
In addition to supporting strategy development, this role will also help process game team needs, write briefs, outline user stories, craft higher user experiences, work closely with quality assurance and deliver exceptional value to the teams with smooth pilot programs and onboarding. Following the first year with Proletariat, this role will expand to provide growth strategy and live services to other exciting 2K partner studios and products.
What You Will Do:
- Leverage established business goals to build a user acquisition funnel and inform acquisition & re-activation strategy.
- Leverage the following to assist key Studio stakeholders in developing and executing high-impact customer-centric Live Service strategies and campaigns:
- User segmentation & lifecycle strategy
- In-game Stores & Content (volume, nature, mix, release cadence, pricing, etc.)
- Limited Time Modes & Events
- Post-launch Progression Systems (Seasons, Objectives, Challenges, etc.)
- User Onboarding & Education Systems (both in- and out-of-game)
- Personalized/targeted content systems (messages, gifts, offers, etc.)
- Identify business benefits and user adoption metrics.
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
- Bachelor's degree with progressively overseas product management experience
- Experience in evangelizing group solutions.
- Well build guidance skills to interact, influence, and align with all organization levels, both internal and external
- Experience working with external development teams to the efficient and successful delivery of products
- A well-built strategic and meticulous thinker with exceptional execution and problem-solving capabilities
- Well-built product management skills with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding customer expectations. Familiarity with agile development and tools
Bonus Points
- PDMA and/or Pragmatic Marketing certifications are a plus
- Experience in technical tools and creative services for video game development is a plus
