Senior Graphics Engineer

Oxide Games is currently seeking a Senior Graphics Engineer to join our team. We are currently working on a new IP AAA game with a first party publisher. Our ideal candidate would have the desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a cutting-edge proprietary gaming engine, be able to maintain engine stability and performance, as well as have a critical eye for improvements across all processes and workflows.

In this role you will…

• Develop innovative graphics techniques, algorithms, libraries and tools to maximize graphics quality and performance
• Work in and maintain a proprietary engine and support its future development
• Optimize low level systems for target hardware specs
• Create documentation and test code for tools and APIs

What types of education and experience do you need for this role?

• 5+ years game industry experience
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field
• Knowledge of C/C++, GPU and shader programming
• Understanding of modern GPU architectures and 3D graphics pipeline
• Strong knowledge of 3D math

As a plus:

• Master’s degree in related field
• Shipped a AAA title
• Experience with D3D12/Vulkan
• Familiarity with VR technology (Oculus, Vive, PlayStation®VR)
• Knowledge of rendering techniques such as deferred, forward+ rendering, shadows, and anti-aliasing

You will work alongside of industry experts who helped develop Direct X and built the first commercial DX11 and DX12 games. If you are highly motivated, self-driven, want to learn new tech and techniques and have good communication skills this position is for you.
