Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a Design Lead to join the Overwatch team. If you are excited about video games, creative development, esports, brand building, story telling, visual communication, art direction and leadership– let’s talk!

We are looking for a forward thinker that has a strong pulse on the Overwatch design themes, strong art direction skills, deep understanding of contemporary visual design and creative– both on social/broadcast/experiental. This role will dive into the established brand identity and also lead the development of the future visual framework for Overwatch and the Overwatch League.
Your Mission
This role works closely with all engaged departments: Development Studios, Social, Global Marketing, Broadcast and Publishing to lead design and creative asset production.

Requirements
- Have 3+ years working in Visual/Design Lead or related role.
- High levels of creativity, and demonstrated ability to generate innovative concepts, designs, and ideas within the timing and scope of a project.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, associated media requirements and best practices.
- Deep understanding of design fundamentals and the ability to apply Blizzard brand values on a wide variety of projects.
- Understanding and familiarity with Overwatch lore, game history and design themes.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Animate or equivalent package
- Experience in design leadership, managing designers/creatives
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Plus
- 3D, especially Maya, C4D etc.
- A genuine passion for Overwatch, esports, video games.
- Have played through all game modes of Overwatch with deep understanding of game mechanics.
- A passion for story, art and conceptual thinking.
