Senior Graphic Designer - Contract

Job Summary: 4 months Contractor - Graphic designer/art director specialising in branding & communications

Requirements

Key Deliverables:

We need an experienced art director/graphic designer who is an expert in branding and visual communications. The task is a branding project for the studio, designing a whole system and assets to fit our personality:

• Create a brand system for Square Enix London Mobile team
• Support the brand system with assets, logo (if necessary), brand book
• Help design the front end for SELM website/portal
• Guide the studio merchandise design including onboarding packs
• Roll out branding across all day to day assets: ppt templates, performance review templates, processes, etc.

Knowledge & Experience:

Essential:

• The ability to land the big picture visions for projects.
• Experience in crafting progressive visual identities for global brands.
• Capable of leading the design process from concept to execution, and delivery
• Work effectively within a team, building trust and inspiring others.
• Understanding of gaming and wider entertainment landscape.
• Guide key stakeholders through the creative process.
• Apply creative thinking to design systems, story-telling and campaign comms.
• Ensures work is delivered to project budgets and timelines.
• Ensures high quality (conceptual& craft) across every deliverable.
• Working with external, and specialist creative partners.

Desirable:

• Has experience in motion/ 3D or Unity.
• Web / digital design experience.
• Conceptual craft for consumer facing comms.

Competencies, Skills & Attributes:

Essential:

• Fluent in the core Adobe product suite.
• Confident understanding across wider creative disciplines i.e. motion, sound and interactive.

We need a collaborative candidate who is used to working with multiple teams in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of their remit and seeking opportunities to integrate with internal teams. Our team is still small but growing rapidly – this role would suit a candidate who enjoys working collaboratively, thinking deeply and striving for better ideas
